This self esteem questionnaire has been put together to help you identify your areas of strengths. Knowing what your strengths are is one of the things that contributes to the development of your self esteem.
Knowing, acknowledging and affirming your strengths is one of the keys to living a successful and fulfilling life.
Next to each strength you agree with put a circle around 'yes' and next to each strength you need to improve on put a circle around 'needs improvement'. You can also ask your colleagues, children, partner, and friends to go over the questionnaire with you to tell you which strengths they think you have. You will be surprised that sometimes other people see us as strong where we see ourselves as weak.

Now go through the self esteem questionnaire again and find at least 10 strengths that make you feel good about yourself. Always remind yourself of these whenever you are feeling low.
Go through the self esteem questionnaire one more time and this time find 10 things that you said you need to improve on, the ones that will make you feel a whole lot better about yourself if you were to improve on them. Now make a commitment to work on improving these areas for the next 1 year.
Finally, write down a few words about how discovering some of your strengths from the self esteem questionnaire made you feel.
